Our Thorough Home Inspections

For each home inspection, we methodically go through the major components of the home, including inspecting the structural, grading, driveway & other concrete flatwork, exterior envelope, roof system, chimney system, attic insulation & ventilation, basement and/or crawlspace, electrical system, plumbing system, heating & cooling systems, kitchen (including the appliances), bathrooms/laundry, the interior, fireplace(s), and sprinkler system. When we're finished, we'll provide you and your agent with a video inspection report on DVD. We'll walk you around, explain the issues, and answer any questions you may have.

Our Professional Video Home Inspection Reports

Today's technology enables us to record the issues in detail as we find them. We explain what we're inspecting, why we're inspecting it, and you'll understand exactly what the issues are. Also, many clients never see the tough-to-reach areas such as the roof, attic, down the chimney, or crawlspace. With our video report, it's like you were right by our side throughout the entire inspection.

For home buyers, this provides you peace of mind and brings to light any major issues enabling you to obtain estimates and successfully negotiate the purchase of your home.

For home owners, this allows you to identify safety issues and items that need addressing before you place your home on the market. When it does come time to list your property, you will have had the time and opportunity to resolve any issues hopefully leading to a headache free and quicker sale.

Every home inspection is conducted according to the strict NAHI Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. On average, the home inspection will take 3-4 hours. Cleaner homes may take less time, while houses with many serious issues may take up to 5 hours.

Radon Testing in Nebraska

We are a Nebraska licensed Radon Measurement Business and provide radon testing as an additional service with our home inspections or as a separate stand-alone test. We use continous monitors with tamper features to ensure that your radon test is accurate and adhering to the EPA's closed house conditions. We are our own lab meaning we can provide instant radon test results upon retrieval of the monitor. There is no waiting a few days to hear back from a lab. We also are not a radon mitigation company making our tests 100% objective.
