We perform a visual home inspection of the structure and components as well as conduct operational checks of the various mechanical systems. We evaluate their present condition and life expectancy. On average, the home inspection will take 3 hours. Cleaner homes may take less time, while houses with many serious issues may take up to 5 hours.

In 2007, our home inspections revealed that 1 in 3 furnaces had a cracked heat exchanger, 1 in 5 homes had a breached chimney liner, 64%* needed over $1,000 to repair the problems, 70% of the radon tests returned high, 45% had serious electrical hazards (where the occupants were in danger of electrocution or the home having an electrical fire), and 71%* had serious safety hazards that posed a threat to the occupants.
